MEET OUR TEAM
I feel extremely honored to be the pastor of Christ the King Community Church here in Wilmington. Wilmington is the county seat of Clinton County and is located about 50 miles northeast of Cincinnati. I am a bi-vocational pastor which means I have a “real” job as well as being a pastor. I drive a semi for a company located here in Wilmington. Our desire as a church is to be a grace-based church devoted to the truth of God’s word. Jesus was described as “full of grace and truth.” We teach the Bible without compromise as well as loving people with grace where they are. The reason we believe in grace is because we have experienced God’s grace and forgiveness in our lives and want others to also experience God’s grace. We long for people to experience a full and amazing life that is found in being a follower of Jesus.
My wife Beth and I have been married over 40 years, and she is my best friend in the entire world. We share a deep and genuine passion for Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. We have three adult children, Diana, Derek, and Rachel (husband Jeff) and our wonderful granddaughter Presley.
Bobbi considers herself a new Christian. She has been going to church for several years now but did not come to Christ until a few years ago. She updates the website and assists with the technological aspects of the church. She is eager to grow as a Christian and is proud to call CTK Wilmington her home.
CHRIS & CHERYL
Twenty three years in the US Navy took Chris and Cheryl to many churches across the United States. Small group ministries have always been an integral part of their church life as they found that small groups were key for developing for deep relationships with fellow members and ultimately a closer relationship to God. Cuba, Ohio is the place that Chris and Cheryl call home. They have 3 grown children: Cody, with partner Linda, live in Blanchester with 5 of their grandchildren. Carrie and husband Dustin, live in Beavercreek with the other two grandkids. Newlyweds Jake and Ashley live in Willoughby, Ohio. Chris and Cheryl are excited about the possibilities that the small group ministries, whatever they look like, will bring to Christ the King Community Church in Wilmington, Ohio.
